gaza

bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
kalian, sama-sama doakan mereka di setiap solat. the least we can do.
kata syeikh hamza yusuf: angka tidak menjadi soal, setiap nyawa pemuda itu bernilai! blood is too precious. dengar a meesage to humanity di sini.
p/s:terkedu membaca entries mereka-mereka yang kini di sebelah palestine cuma(egypt, jordan). sedangkan aku? disebelah negara penyebabnya!

  3. I think it is wrong to terkedu being over here - seriously. The ironic fact is we over here at the West can do lots more than them at the middle east!

Macam Tariq Ramadan kata emotions are emotions, but what do we do?

We at the West can at least try make our voice heard, we have freedom of speech here, we can do/join demonstrations, make our voice heard to pressure the goverments over here. Only Muslims at the West can do this (our voice is the loudest to them), and this is our responsibility.

At the middle east? Take up Kalashnikov riffles? Any authority? Who will listen to your voice over there? Unless of course if you are at Iran...

On a more practical note, we get 1300 CAD scholarship, which is what? Not to mention if you're at UK, pound is even bigger. We get lots more than anyone at other smaller currency countries get. So tell me, who can donate more to help the Palestinians?

Don't be absurd about hanya mampu berdoa... This is the typical muslim passiveness that Tariq Ramadan was talking about. Of course, doa is our greatest weapon, but [think for yourself].

    More action, less emotion.

    p/s: Don't take offend.

  8. Situation kat Gaza skrg sangatlah senseless, if the world keeps waiting for Israel to give us a rationale for their action- seperti yg kita rasa UN buat skrg, I don't know, tak boleh ke they all just stop these senseless killings, apa kaitan families and the children and the elderlies with Hamas?! - the reasons are never gonna come.

Dah 21th century pun manusia can let things like these be. Semua politics and power, I don't know where their perasaan belas kasihan hilang. Can you imagine, an able 20 year old soldier pointing a gun at a cowering 5 year old, helpless and unable to defend himself? For what?! Perasaan kemanusiaan tu hilang terus, cuba bayangkan kalau anak dia ke, adik dia ke in that position.. Astaghfirullah, menakutkan la, the total lack of respect for another human's life, not to mention right to freedom. And we claim we are a civilised society already!

(sorry emo kat blog awak, I just hope there are more we can do to make them listen. I guess in the end kena ikut our own capacitiy to act.. If the world leaders and those in charge are not willing to listen, our collective prayers will InsyaAllah reach the most Almighty of all.. and of course Arif is right, we have a more resounding voice than the victims of this carnage, and we should use it.)
